'6̬me Sens Rouge', Pays d'Oc, G̩rard Bertrand

Juicy red cherry fruit with vanilla nuances in a medium bodied style, eminently moreish.
The grapes were vinified separately. A proportion of the Syrah underwent carbonic maceration which preserved the integrity of the aromas and ensured a fruity style. The remainder of the grapes were destemmed, followed by traditional maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks under carefully controlled temperatures, up to a maximum of 25å¡C. Following fermentation, the wines were matured with a proportion being aged in French oak barrels and the remainder in vats to preserve the fruity aromas.
