Bourgogne Pinot Noir, Domaine Ren̩ Monnier

Stylish Bourgogne showing fresh raspberry and red plum fruit so typical of good Pinot Noir.
Picked at optimum maturity, the grapes were vinified using traditional methods. Pre-fermentation maceration lasted for six days to extract aromas, flavour and fine tannins. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks over two weeks followed by maturation in French oak barrels for 10 months, of which 30% was new.
