Ch̢teau La Sauvageonne, 'Pica Broca', Terrasses du Larzac, G̩rard Bertrand

A stylish wine packed with aromas of blackberry jam, spices and subtle notes of garrigue herbs, smooth and intense.
The grapes were hand-harvested at optimum polyphenolic ripeness, and then meticulously sorted before being transferred to temperature controlled vats. Only the ripe, healthy grapes were selected in order to maintain the high quality. The two varieties were destemmed and vinified separately. Maceration lasted approximately 20 to 25 days. The wines were then transferred to new 225 litre barrels, where they matured for 12 to 16 months.

Three words to describe this wine:

garrigue – blackberry – opulent
