Ch̢teau Les Collines, M̩doc Cru Artisan

Made by the 5th generation of winemakers, this is a wine that is marked by fine blackcurrant and raspberry fruits with a touch of liquorice and a rounded finish.
The grapes were traditionally vinified, with a cold maceration to obtain the desired levels of extraction and pump-overs in order to aerate the wine. Fermentation took place at controlled temperatures of between 28 to 30å¡C, with a maceration lasting approximately 28 days. The wine was then aged in 18 months in vat. It was bottled without any fining or filtration, in order to preserve the quality and fruity characteristics of the wine.
