Grand Malbec, Cafayate, Piattelli Vineyards

A rich and inky red with aromas of black fruits, cedar and a touch of smoke. Intense and fruit forward on the palate with an opulent and mouthfilling texture.
The grapes were hand-picked and destemmed. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with post fermentation maceration lasting for two weeks. When fermentation was complete, the wine was racked to first use French oak barrels, where it went through malolactic fermentation and was aged for 12 months.
