Irpinia Aglianico, 'Serpico', Campania, Feudi di San Gregorio

A dense and warm wine bursting with cherry jam, sweet spices, liquorice, coffee and cocoa notes culminating in a robust and savoury finish.
Fermentation and maceration took place in stainless steel tanks and lasted for approximately three to four weeks. The wine was matured for a minimum of 12 months in medium-toasted French barriques and barrels of 50 hectolitres. The wine was then aged for a minimum of 12 months in bottle, prior to release.
