A robust wine with characteristic chunky Merlot flavours of black plum complemented by a smooth texture.
The grapes were hand harvested and macerated at low temperatures to start the extraction of colour, flavour, aromas and tannins. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks using natural and selected yeasts and was maintained at temperatures of approximately 26å¡C. Maturation in French oak for three months added subtle oak complexity, which was followed by three months bottle ageing.
