Merlot 'Naturalys', Pays d'Oc, G̩rard Bertrand

Round, fruity and soft with vanilla, plums and spice with a touch of dark chocolate. A lovely Merlot.
The hand-harvested grapes were picked when they had reached optimal maturity. They were then destemmed and macerated for 10 to 15 days in temperature controlled stainless steel vats. Frequent pump-overs took place to extract the fruit‰Ûªs rich aromas, fine tannins and colour. The wine was fermented and aged in stainless steel in order to display the purest expression of Merlot and bottled after six months.
