Elegantly styled Burgundy displaying delicate strawberry fruit enhanced by a touch of coffee and with lovely balanced oak
The grapes were sorted and destemmed and underwent cold pre-fermentation maceration for four to five days. Alcoholic fermentation lasted approximately 18 days. The wine was pressed and then aged in barrel for 12 months which added complexity. Fining and a light filtration took place prior to bottling.
