Pinot Noir, Viña Edmara

A stylish and light bodied Pinot Noir packed with delicate cherry and strawberry fruit enhanced by vanilla notes.
The berries were destemmed and partially crushed. The must was cooled immediately after crushing to maintain aromas, flavours and to reduce the level of sulphur dioxide. A cool pre-fermentation maceration lasted for five days, extracting primary flavours and colour. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, with a gentle extraction to achieve a soft and fruity character in the final wine. After short post-fermentation maceration, the wine had brief oak contact to increase complexity.
