Taurasi, Campania, Feudi di San Gregorio

Savoury and herbal notes of thyme and lavender with hints of black liquorice, textured with beautifully sustained smoky, robust flavours.
The grapes were harvested at optimum maturity and vinified immediately. Fermentation and maceration took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks over a period of approximately three weeks. Maturation lasted for 18 months in medium-toasted French barrels. The wine then received a minimum of nine months bottle ageing, prior to being released.

Three words to describe this wine:

robust – smoky – meaty
