Stoan, Alto Adige, Tramin

A sumptuous and complex wine with delightful pineapple and mango notes over a creamy and rich palate while retaining a lovely freshness.
The grapes were gently pressed. Fermentation took place in large oak barrels at temperatures of between 18 to 20è_C. Partial malolactic fermentation followed. Clarification took place through a natural sedimentation of the particles. The wine was matured in large wooden barrels of 30 to 40 hectolitres, for a period of 11 months. During maturation the wine was in constant contact with the fine lees, adding texture and complexity. After the wine had been blended and bottled, it was cellared for a further three months, prior to release.

Three words to describe this wine:

tropical – rich – full flavour
