An intense wine showing blackcurrant fruit with a hint of olbas oil and liquorice with a long, firm finish.
The grapes were harvested at optimum maturity, destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperatures. Maceration on the skins lasted for two weeks, extracting aromas, flavour, colour and fine tannins. The wine was matured for 12 months in French oak barriques of second and third passage, followed by further bottle ageing.
