Upon a visit in late February, this fantastic couple spent the evening listening to our local musician; ex-Mott The Hoople pianist, Mick Bolton.
“The Grapevine has it’s very own ambience, unique character and relaxed yet exciting atmosphere; decorated in a lovely Jazz club style, with a beautiful Piano! We were lucky enough to get a table and seats in the cosy basement Bar right next to the Live Pianist performing a wide and wonderful set on Grand Piano!”

“I’m a Rye local, recently discovered this great bar. The atmosphere is very inviting, and relaxed, Ollie behind the bar is very friendly and attentive and they have some great music every weekend. You can even get a yummy cheese board if you get the nibbles, so always a lovely evening. Definitely recommend.”

“Wowoowowow!!!! Still blown away about our amazing evening at the Grapevine! It was a great rainy weekend during the jazz festival, we found The Grapevine and I fell in love but it was so busy we couldn’t get in. So we returned this year basically just to go to The Grapevine and even with this high expectation it beat everything! We enjoyed crisp champagne followed by a bottle of wine shared between my sisters and I and we grooved to the great Jazz by the Red Diesels, who in fact were amazing! The guy even played this plastic tube thing and it was insane! The atmosphere was great and the friendly staff completed the experience for us. We really enjoyed out time!”
