Gigondas, Les Souteyrades, Domaine Saint Damien

Full bodied and powerful, this layered and complex wine has intense flavours of liquorice and fennel complemented by raisined black fruits, chocolate and spice.
The grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness. They then underwent a long six week fermentation in concrete vats. The resulting wine was matured for 12 months in oak barrels and was bottled without any fining or filtration.
