Pinot Noir 'Réserve Spéciale', Pays d'Oc, Gérard Bertrand

A fruity and easy drinking wine offering notes of rhubarb, cherry and wild raspberry combined with a hint of spice.
The grapes were destemmed before being placed into vats for a maceration that lasted approximately 10 to 15 days. Pumping-over extracted the desired levels of colour, aromas and fine tannins prior to pressing. The wine was vinified in the traditional manner and was then partially matured in 225 litre barrels adding subtle complexity, before being bottled.

Three words to describe this wine:

rhubarb – red fruits – light
