The fruit was selected and hand-picked from sites across Frankland River. Temperature controlled fermentation took place in small lot fermenters. Moderate extraction was aimed for, ensuring the vineyard characters were fully expressed. The wine was then aged in new and one year old oak, for six to eight months enhancing the wine with a subtle oak complexity.
