This rich and elegant ros̩ has complex aromas of red fruit, through to a long flavoursome finish.
As a blended ros̩, or a “ros̩ d’assemblage”, this Champagne is a blend of white juice from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Champagne vineyards, with a small proportion of red wine made from Pinot Noir in Mareuil-sur-Ay; prior to the secondary fermentation in the bottle. Known as Mareuil Rouge, it is an outstanding contributor to the blend and makes for a very serious gastronomic Champagne. This Champagne has spent 25 months on its lees, enhancing its texture and fragrance.
