Roero Arneis 'Le Madri', Michele Chiarlo

A refreshing wine from the finest hillside vineyards in Roero with intense aromas of aniseed and juniper and a dry, salty and steely finish.
Fermentation took place with natural yeasts in small temperature controlled stainless steel vats at 16 to 18å¡C preserving the aromatic and perfumed characteristics of this variety. The wine was refined in tank for a further three months on the lees, which imparted texture and complexity to the wine, prior to being bottled.
